A little about me

I'm a fifth generation Alaskan, born and raised in Juneau.  Creating has always been an important part of my life, but it wasn't until college that I discovered my love of clay.
.
From the first Intro to Ceramics course I took at Montana State University, I was hooked.  I love everything about this medium, from the way it feels in my hands, to the intimate experience of using functional art in day to day life.
.
After completing a BFA in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Ceramics, I moved back home to Juneau and quickly began brainstorming ways to get back in the studio.  Today I am blessed to have my studio right here at home on Lena Loop Road.
.
My work is always changing, as I explore new techniques, materials and imagery.  While every piece I make is different, there are patterns and shapes that I keep coming back to over the years.

Thank you for visiting my website and for joining me on this creative journey.
