Outside my back door is a forest of berry bushes. Picking them with my kids is one of my favorite memories each year. Even though we aren't able to save much with how quickly my kids can eat them, we are totally present in that experience together. Right now the bushes are bare but I can use my imagination to dream of a time not that far off when I'll be enjoying them again.
